Meet the team!
Giulia Boato is Associate Professor at DISI. She is currently co-PI of the PRIN project PREMIER (2020-2022) and of the DARPA project UNCHAINED (2020-2023). She has chaired various conferences in the field of multimedia forensics and is author of more than 140 papers with H-index 27. She covers the role of scientific manager of TrueBees.
Daniele Miorandi is CEO of U-Hopper. Daniele holds a PhD from University of Padova in telecommunications engineering. He is recognised for his research works in networking, IoT and big data (180+ publications, 8,500+ citations, listed by Stanford in the top 100k scientists worldwide in both 2019 and 2020). 5 patents awarded, 3 companies co-founded. He coordinated 3 EU cooperative R&D&I projects (BIONETS, Social-IST, SUPERHUB) and acted as co-PI/site PI in more than 30. He is the coordinator of TrueBees.
Carlo Caprini is Product Manager at U-Hopper. He holds a M.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering. Since 2013 he has worked on the design, architecture, development and deployment of big data systems. He is responsible for the development of all UH digital products. In TrueBees he leads system design and coordinate sw integration.
Davaadorj Battulga is research engineer at U-Hopper and PhD candidate in Computer Science at Université de Rennes I. He has 5 years of experience in the development of scalable information architectures and has 3 years of experience working with blockchain frameworks. He engineers the TrueBees blockchain integration.
Sebastiano Verde holds a PhD from University of Padova and is Postdoctoral Researcher at DISI. His research interests focus primarily on multimedia forensics. He leads the TrueBees AI-based forensics tools development and pre-engineering software prototyping.
Antonio Luigi Stefani is Researcher at DISI. He graduated cum Laude in Information and Communication Engineering in December 2021 and holds a postgraduate scholarship. His research focuses mainly on crowd behaviour analysis and image forensics. He develops the TrueBees AI-based forensics software.
Diego Taglioni is managing partner and Sales manager at U-Hopper. He holds an MBA issued by SDA Bocconi School of Management and has extensive managerial experience in international companies, including NTT DoCoMo Inc. (JP), Finmeccanica-Leonardo, Wind and Coop (IT). He is also inventor of 3 international patents in the field of the smart cities and energy efficiency. He is the key person in charge of all business development strategies and activities for Truebees.
